*      Why Did My Case Go to the Collection Unit?

 

o       Cases are assigned to the Warrants and Fines division if you appeared in court and were ordered to make monthly payments or if you failed to pay a traffic ticket by the date listed on the original signed ticket.

 

 

*      How Can I Pay?

 

o       You may pay by cashiers check, money order or by credit card. Payments can be made in person, by mail or by phone.

 

o       To pay in person

 

§         Payments can be made at the Government Center listed in your notice.  If the address is a PO Box you must call NetPLEA for further information

 

o       To pay by mail

 

*      To pay by phone

 

*      Some courts offer credit card services which may include a   convenience fee.  See your notice for further details.

  Can I go to Jail?

 

If you have not contacted the court by your due date, you are in violation of your promise to appear.

 

If you had a court date and didn't not appear, you have committed the offense of "Failure to Appear"  Both may have warrant and Jail implications.
